The student will be placed at a local hospital that is part of the Health Group based in Coimbra. This hospital has a rich history dating back to 1953, when the first hospital was established as the first health unit with an operating room and inpatient, located in the heart of Coimbra. As part of a local private hospital group, students will gain valuable insights by learning from various departments and key hospital management processes.

The student will be placed at Research Oncological Public Hospital in Coimbra. This local hospital is part of the Portuguese Government National Health System and a key institution in Cancer treatment.  

The medical study and treatment of oncological disease in Portugal dates back to the beginning of the twentieth century. On December 29, 1923, by Decree of the Ministry of Public Instruction, the Portuguese Institute for the Study of Cancer was created, then with temporary headquarters in Coimbra.

The student will be placed at Healthcare Hospital open to all residents of Madrid, who wish to be treated, with the aim of offering excellent healthcare and the best possible patient experience.

A center built with the needs of the patients of the Corredor del Henares and of any Madrid resident. Their center is located on a plot of more than 60,000 square meters. It was founded with the vocation of serving the 147,000 Madrid resident in Madrid northern district, as well as anyone who comes to our center with their health card and insurance.
