Our Project
Eurointernships was founded on a simple idea: the best shadowing experience happens when a student has a real place beside a physician, not a spot in a crowd. So we keep our programs small on purpose.
What "boutique" means in practice

4 to 10 students per program. Each hospital receives only as many students as its departments can host well.

Hand-matched placements. Before you arrive, we review your interests and goals and match you with physicians and departments that fit them.

Two interviews, not a checkout page. You meet the founder first, then the hospital team. This protects the quality of the group and the trust of our hospital partners.

One named contact throughout. From your first email to your final debrief, you deal with the same person, not a call center.

A program that adapts. Want more time in surgery, or a meeting with the hospital's quality team? Small groups let us say yes.

Meet the Founder

Paulo Vasconcelos is a graduate of the University of Coimbra and has spent more than 24 years leading organizational transformation and performance programs across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South America. As founder of Advancefusion, he has worked with healthcare, industrial and infrastructure organizations on how they are managed and how they improve.
That background shapes the program. Students do not only watch medicine being practiced. They also learn how a hospital is organized, how decisions are made and how quality is managed, through meetings Paulo arranges with the people who run these institutions.
